Zambia’s national malaria elimination campaign uses the banner slogan 'Malaria Ends With Me' to organise all malaria activities and partners, including the private sector. InHouse Design has been making a contribution to the malaria elimination campaign in Zambia since 2012, first with the “Test 4 Life” campaign and then with Malaria Free Zambia / Malaria Ends with Me. It’s been wonderful to watch this brand strategy unfold organically. over the years.
Malaria Elimination
Home base for the fight against malaria in Zambia is based at the National Malaria Elimination Centre (NMEC) in Lusaka. InHouse Design has been working over the years to keep the messaging clear and concise and the messengers armed with a distinct look.
Community Health Workers and TEST4LIFE
Under the Malaria Ends With Me umbrella is the Test4Life campaign.
InHouse Design Studio initially provided design support for the Ministry of Health’s Test4Life initiative in 2012. Work on the now multi-partner project has grown over the years and the role InHouse has played has carried on.
When the opportunity came up for designing bicycles as a collaboration between PATH, Akros Global Health and World Bicycle Relief, InHouse was honored to be on the team. InHouse excuted the branding of Buffalo Bicycles and followed the project from the drafting board to the factory floor and eventually to the field where ‘our’ branded bicycles were distributed in Southern Province. These bicycles now carry Community Health Workers to Zambia’s most remote corners to deliver much-needed malaria control and management services. The bicycles play a key role the Zambian Ministry of Health’s mission to “bring health care to the people.”
