GRI Wildlife Discovery Centre

In 2021, I was approached by Game Rangers International (GRI) to do a logo for a project that combined art, design, science and education - it was the perfect fit for my little design company. The logo project turned into a sign project, turned into a mural project, turned into exhibit design…turned into an amazing years-long collaboration between the founders and their amazing team of educators, biologists, conservation specialists, rangers and fundraising team. From the GRI website: “The centre not only provides free conservation education to over 2,000 children every year but is also the new home of our renowned Elephant Nursery. Fully accessible to all, the Wildlife Discovery Centre welcomes local and international visitors to immerse themselves in interactive displays and exhibits that highlight conservation issues and the efforts to resolve them. Through the centre, we aim to make a significant long-term contribution to the protection of wildlife and wild spaces by showcasing Zambia’s natural wealth, increasing environmental awareness and inspiring greater conservation stewardship.”

My work at WDC is something I am extremely proud of. I hope you can come to the Lusaka National Park and experience this unique and wonderful place and check in on GRI’s latest projects, programmes and exhibits!

(Stay tuned for more project photos here — life has simply gotten in the way of documenting all the work we’ve done at WDC!) Learn more about the GRI Wildlife Discovery Center.
